The attached draft timeline will serve as a starting point for the Commission's discussion. Please share this with interested members of your organization. At the July 14, 2003, Planning Commission meeting, the project consultant will present the Town Center Plan report and the Commission intends to finalize the follow up planning approach. The Commission will also consider forwarding the report and follow up planning approach to the City Council for its review. The City Council is tentatively scheduled to hold a joint work session with the Planning Commission on September 9, 2003. Box 369, Lake Oswego, OR 97034 Phone (503) 635-0290 Plan Background The Lake Grove Town Center Plan is funded by a grant from the Transportation and Growth Management Program (TGM)of the State of Oregon. The TGM Program supports local planning that encourages compact,mixed-use,pedestrian-, bicycle-, and transit-friendly development. The Plan will help the City of Lake Oswego implement its Comprehensive Plan policies regarding Town Centers and Main Streets, implement the State Transportation Planning Rule, the Region 2040 Growth Concept and surrounding neighborhood plans.
