LORA/City Council Agenda Briefing; Minutes
January 3, 1994
Mayor Alice Schlenker called the )anuary 3, 1994 LORA/City Council agenda briefing meeting
to order at 7:30 a.m. Present were Mayer Schlenker and Councilors Anderson, Chrisman, Jul,, ,
Klanvner and Puskas. Councilor Holstein was excused. Also present was citizen f att ThotnAs,
City Manager Doug Schmitz, City Recorder Kristi Hitchcock, and City staff Doug Waugh.
LORA reviewed the agenda for January 4, 1994. They discussed the following items:
1. Harvey Rogers will conduct financing review of aquatic center 1/4/94;
2. Reviewed concepts for East End for 1/4/94 worksession with EDC;
3. Alternative plan presented by staff previewed.
The City Council reviewed the agenda for January 4, 1994. They discussed the following, itt-tw.
1. Reviewed City Council agenda - Rossman Park bid - OK for so low?
2. Placement of election of Council President on agenda;
3. GTE Mobil Net tower -use of Cook's Butte Park - Property owner decision - public v.
park.
Other issues discussed at the meeting were:
I. CCI interviews 4:30 p.m. - CCI - change date to 1/19/94;
2. Development Review Board appointments - reappoint two whose terms have expired
or leave open?
3. Scheduling hearing on Development Review Board Hearings Officer for February,-
4.
ebruary;4. There was consensus no worksession was needed with Development Review Board
prior to the public hearing.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:35 a.m.
Bill Klammer was excused. Executive Session pursuant to LOC 1'42.660(i)(e), Real Property,
conunenced at 9:36 a.m. and adjourned at 9:00 a.m.
