1. Preservation of existing residential structures. Should the City use incentives Middle Housing

3. Stormwater impacts of increased density. The City's stormwater code Middle Housing
requires that new developments and redevelopment projects over a certain Opportunities
size manage stormwater on the lot. However, the existing land use code Report, pp. 28
(development code) generally does not limit paving or development of other
impervious surfaces, such as driveways, patios, sport courts and pools.
a. As densities increase with middle housing we anticipate removal of
more landscaping and trees to make way for more driveways, patios,
and other features, unless the City limits development of these

for middle housing (and single-family homes)?
4. Affordability and accessibility of middle housing development. House Bill Middle Housing
2001 does not mandate housing affordability (prices or rent levels), but it Opportunities

affordable. Similarly, the bill does not alter existing Federal and State
requirements for accessibility under the Americans With Disabilities Act Plan and Code Audit
