As a long-time neighbor who lives adjacent to the Lake Forest Neighborhood Association that includes
stewardship work in West Waluga Park, I am deeply concerned about the recent decision made by our
Mayor and City Council regarding land use application LU 23-0002.
By allowing such a sewer line currently proposed to be trenched through West Waluga Park and NOT
considering other alternates to the proposed routing is shortsighted. Why weren’t other sewer routings
considered?
Please deny this sewer line routing through the wetlands as it currently is proposed.
The applicant’s rep: Danielle Isenhart should be very familiar with developing land both in Waluga and in
Lake Forest Neighborhoods. In the past she has listened and was willing to make compromising with
these neighborhood, citing that she’s sensitive and empathetic to the residents.
