Adjourned meot!n, of t?•e City Council was called to order
by Mayor A.C .Uees.
On rollcall all were present excepting Treasurer Bickner.
Bill of U.Frnest Nolsr'n for surveying and making profiles
of the streets from Front St. to and including Ninth St.
and from First Ave. to the Northern limits of the City of
Oswego,amounting to $330.00 was read and referred to the •�
411/ finance committeo ,who reported favorably on the same and a ;=
motion was made by Wanker,seconded by Fox ,that the report
be accepted and the bill paid. On roll call all, present
voting,Yes; Carried and so ordered:
Bids were received from the following persons for grading• ;;
and hauling the rock for the surfacing of "Fifth St. from
"A"to "First" Ave.also a portion Jf the alley extending . i
through Blks,30 and 50 in the City of Oswego.

A motion wan made by Poyd,seconded by Pollard that the
bid of F. F.R'hitten be accepted and that he be awarded the
contract as follows; for grading 180.00. and that he shall !,
furnish the rook ,and spread the same on the said street
and alley for cost price. On rolcall all present voting,
Yes; Carried and so ordered.
• A motion was made by Boyd seconded by Didzun that the
Mayor act as a committee of ono to confer with the South-
ern Pacific Co. in regards to installing a bell or their
giving"The Public" safer protection at their crossing on
Front St. in the City of Oswego. Carried and so ordered.
An "Ordinance"was resented for the p purpose of laying a
concrete side-walk on "D"Ave.beginning at the"Pacific i!

Highway" and running westerly,on the South side of "D"Ave.for a distance of two or more blocks.
