1. CALL TO ORDER
Doug Corder called the meeting to order at 10:04 a.m.
2. ROLL CALL

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Steven Kaufman made a motion to approve the July meeting minutes. Steven Unger seconded
the motion. The motion passed unanimously and the July minutes were approved.
4. CITY COUNCIL UPDATE - Councilor Massene Mboup
Council Mboup absent no update given
5. PUBLIC COMMENT
The purpose of Public Comment is to allow community members to present information or raise an issue
regarding items not on the agenda or regarding agenda items that do not include a public hearing.A time
limit of three minutes per individual shall apply. Public Comment will not exceed thirty minutes in total. If
you are unable to attend the meeting and prefer to provide public comment in writing, please email the
comment to the staff contact listed above at least 24 hours before the meeting.

6. AGENDA ITEMS
6.1 LOACC UPDATE - Maria Bigelow
The dual EV chargers located at the ACC is up and running
Trip to Pendleton Round-up two-night trip
Caregiver Respite program has a long waitlist. Looking at expanding days of service.
952 hours of service last fiscal year with 238 participants over 145 days of service and 1636
hours of volunteer service to the Respite program.
ADA signs have been upgraded to increase height.
Partnered with Lake Oswego Hunger Fighters and MOW's delivered emergency meal boxes
NRPA partnership for a grant to pay for the training of two instructors for Evidenced based
fitness program. The program is 15 weeks long, three times a week.
6.2 TRANSPORTATION—Will Farley, PE

Will Farley talked about the following;
Comprehensive Plan 2013
Capital Improvement Plan
175 transportation projects identified for 2024-2025, prioritized by community input, funding &
urgency.
Project costs approximately $16million.
Funding resources from street fund are approximately $23million.
20 is Plenty speed limit policy roll-out.
Rail Quiet zone project investigation
Update McVey/Stafford corridor study
Possible projects, bicycle lanes and good route around Lake Oswego
6.3 50+ADVISORY BOARD WORK PLAN DISCUSSION —50+ Board Members

50+ board reviewed outline of goals/initiatives
Emergency preparedness action was contacting Neighborhood Associations (N.A.)
Updates were given by board members with contacts to NA's.
E-Prep fair held at city hall in September
PrepLO training was completed by board members, Doug Corder, Susan Speer & Betty Holladay
City of Lake Oswego is looking for support from PrepLO for 2 Weeks Ready Program
Board would like to see more responses from NA's and will discuss at future meeting with
council liaison.

Parks Plan meeting#6 was attended by board member, Betty Holladay and discussed 124
projects.
The board were asked to think about what topics they would like to see in 2025
6.4 ELECTION OF BOARD CHAIR &VICE-CHAIR—50+ Board Members
Board chair, Doug Corder opened up nominations for Board chairs and/or co-chairs for the 50+
Advisory Board.
Doug Corder put forth Linda Rountree and Doug Corder names as co-chairs.
Betty Holladay nominated Linda Rountree and Doug Corder for co-chairs.
Steven Kaufman seconded the nominations.
The 50+ Board unanimously approved the nomination and appointed Linda Rountree and Doug
Corder as co-chairs for the 50+ Advisory Board effective January 1, 2025.
6.5 DECEMBER MEETING VIRTUAL/IN-PERSON —50+ Board Members
Board discussed scheduling a special meeting to include City Councilor Mboup in attendance.
Staff liaison will contact Councilor Mboup for possible dates to meet in December.
6.6 BOARDS &COMMISSIONS SUMMIT 01/09/2025 ANNOUNCEMENT
Board was encouraged to attend upcoming Boards & Commissions summit in 2025.
Information and agenda will be forthcoming.
7. ADJOURNMENT
