EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Lake Oswego Tennis Center (LOTC) has been offering the only Special Olympics tennis
program in Oregon for 21 years. The program was recognized in the National Recreation and
Parks Association (NRPA) magazine in 2024, and is featured in NRPA's marketing materials for
Park and Recreation Month.
LOTC began offering programming for Special Olympians in 2001. The program has grown from
a few athletes and two staff members to 23 athletes and 25 dedicated volunteers in 2025.
We will show a short video and briefly share information from the 2024-25 season.
