The purpose of Public Comment is to allow community members to present information or raise an issue regarding
items not on the agenda or regarding agenda items that do not include a public hearing. A time limit of three
minutes per individual shall apply. Public Comment will not exceed thirty minutes in total. If you are unable to
attend the meeting and prefer to provide public comment in writing, please email the comment to the staff contact
listed above at least 24 hours before the meeting.

5.FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS, AND ORDER
5.1 Fair Housing Policy and Education - (LU 25-0001)
On September 8, 2025, the Planning Commission issued a preliminary recommendation for
the City Council to approve the proposed Comprehensive Plan amendment and directed
staff to return with the draft Findings, Conclusions, and Order. Staff coordinator is Erik Olson,
Long Range Planning Manager.

6.1 Rezoning for Housing – Work Session #2 (PP 25-0001)
The Commission will receive an overview and introduction to the Rezoning for Housing
project, which is one of the strategies identified in the City’s Housing Production Strategy
(2024). Staff coordinator is Michael McNamee, Associate Planner.
