Meeting #2 – Site Tour

PUBLIC VIEWING & COMMENTS
This tour will take place during daylight hours in lieu of the regular evening meeting time. Participants will gather at
City Hall prior to departure. Members of the general public are welcome to participate in the site tour using their
own means of transportation. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, November 19th at noon – please email
csiquina@ci.oswego.or.us to register.
For those unable to attend, self-guided tour materials will be made available. Visit the meeting web page:

public who wish to send comments regarding issues being addressed by the Foothills Community Advisory
Committee (“Foothills CAC”) are requested to email their comments to csiquina@ci.oswego.or.us, with “Foothills
CAC” in the subject line.
SITE TOUR PURPOSE
This site tour is intended to provide a foundational understanding of existing conditions within the Foothills District
project area. Points of interest are identified along three tour routes, each accompanied by a brief description of
current conditions and key observations. Members of the CAC are encouraged to discuss what they observe at each
point of interest and engage with City staff and the consultant team through questions and comments. These
discussions will help strengthen collective awareness of on-site conditions, identify issues to be addressed, and
highlight future opportunities to improve access and support potential redevelopment within the project area.
AGENDA
1. Meet at City Hall and Board Vehicle to begin Site Tour (10 mins) 9:30 – 9:40 AM
2. Route A – Visit the primary project area entry, future redevelopment area, Waste
Water Treatment Plant and Foothills Park (Points of Interest 3 – 9) (see Site Tour Map
for route) (40 mins)
9:40 – 10:20 AM
3. Route B – Visit the State Street corridor and the open space north of Tryon Creek
(Points of interest 10-12) (20 mins)
10:20 – 10:40 AM
4. Route C – Visit the intersection of State Street and Terwilliger Boulevard and the North
Anchor redevelopment (Points of Interest 13-14) (20 mins)
10:40 – 11:00 AM
5. Return to City Hall and Debrief at Council Chambers (3 rd Floor) with group discussion of
individual observations (30 mins)
