The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
Since we are celebrating safety with 20 is plenty, I would like to see signs around Lake Oswego High school on
Boones Ferry identifying that that is a school zone-in both directions, plus speed"bumps"4 or 5 across in low
formation,4 lines of bumps, plus a flashing light like we have at 5th and A and by Zupan's. It is extremly dark on
that road with no sidewalks and only 1 sign saying"yield to walkers".Also,on Country Club we need additional
lights going each direction,after the lights to remind people that they are still in school zone. Look at what Tigard
has on Durham or what Boise, ID does for cross walks and adding another labor crossing secuirty using green
paint and lines to keep the cars away from the cross walk.We can and should do better to protect our kids,
especially now that LO is focusing on safety,this should be TOP priority to keep our kids safe.
