The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
1. Pedestrian Safety from careless drivers. I've noticed,since the pandemic,that many drivers don't come to a
stop at stop signs.Some brake a bit but never fully stop,others drive through without braking,even when there
are pedestrians in the intersection already. . I've seen many red lights driven through without braking. I applaud
the reduction in residential area speed limit, but without enforcement, I doubt any substantive improvements. I
realize that cameras are more Big Brother and cost. I wonder about your ideas.
2. I also applaud the city changing to non-gas powered landscaping equipment on city properties,and hope that
in the near future,that will be extended to private property. More than 100 cities in the US, have mandated this
already. Let's stay ahead of the curve,and work with the city's self-professed priorities of bee city,tree city.
