The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
Making it so leaving trash cans on the curb more than 24hours is illegal in lake Oswego. I recognize the Majority
do follow this within lake Oswego already without a law because most strive for a clean beautiful city.
Unfortunately some do not,and unfortunately for me and my street neighbors,we have a neighbor who who has
left their bins out in the street for over 2 years now(they now do it to bother us neighbors). Lake Oswego police
say there is nothing they can do because there isn't a code/law. Please help create one so something can be
done and others aren't put in a similar position.
