The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
Tree Removal Process: Developers are buying lots and cutting down trees consistently with Type II permits(or
without any permit)while residents are told they cannot remove trees that are proven to be unsafe by arborists.
Developers, particularly Renaissance Homes,are negatively impacting the landscape of Lake Oswego buying
up old homes and clearing the lots of all trees. Please help to improve regulation to allow proven unsafe trees to
be removed and more strictly prohibits healthy trees to be removed for building purposes.
On another note, Rassekh Park has been an incredible addition to our neighborhood!Thank you for prioritizing
accessible parks that build community.
