The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
Power Grid stability,especially from weather events, is an increasing concern as we have more fluctuations and
PGE outages. I would like the Council to consider an LO/PGE study to determine weakest links in the grid and
capacity needed to backstop outages across LO substations. I see Tigard and LO installing a generator on
Nansen Summit to run its transmitters and water pump for the reservoir. It only seems reasonable to assess
what adding 100KW in local battery capacity to each substation would do overall grid stability.Could lead to
some guidelines on Vehicle to grid options for homeowners as well.
