The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
As part of the ongoing road improvement projects around the city,we'd ask that the council commits to
commissioning a proper scoping and completion of a traffic improvement study at the intersection of Country
Club Rd.and Iron Mtn. Blvd. ("disfunction junction")to improve the flow of traffic and efficiency,and to enhance
safety by reducing the risk of incidents.
There are 6 points of entry/exit at this intersection,and we've personally witnesses several near-miss accidents
(vehicles and pedestrians)with confused,aggressive,or overly passive drivers. It would seem that a civil
engineer could redesign this overly large and complex intersection by adding a roundabout and
simplifying/consolidating the two,side-by-side entry points at Iron Mtn.(N)and Bayberry Rd.,while improving
visibility and vehicle prioritization.
