The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
I'd like to see the city follow suit with Portland(and 100 other governments around the country)and ban the old
gas-powered blowers. I have watched in dismay as children getting off the bus have to walk past these
machines pollution clouds and endure their 100+decibels with no regard for their safety.Worst of all, it's
reported the workers who use regularly use these gas tools are doubling their risk of cancer. Knowing the facts
of how terrible these machines are, it's is a sin for a such a well-to-do city like ours not to take some very simple
steps to protect one another and the workers who use them. Please make this happen already.
