The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
Include some sort of historical preservation of the architecture of Lake Oswego homes, buildings;similar to the
Eastmoreland neighborhood in Portland.We still have a(smallish)variety of older homes that make our city
unique and interesting.Stop the McMansion invasion.
Make a concerted effort to make environment and housing a duel priority: meaning work with the trees when
designing living structures.We cannot simply replace 80-100 year old trees.
Consider making Lake Oswego a"dark sky"city.We could use it as a draw for tourists, industry and bird lovers.
