The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

Neighborhood Skylands
What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
Road improvement would be very helpful. Many of the roads in our neighborhood are in poor condition. Fresh
paving would be appreciated!
Additionally,this neighborhood has a lot of foot traffic, people walking often with dogs.There are no sidewalks in
this neighborhood.The speed limit should be 20 miles an hour,and some traffic combing would be appreciated.
Particularly coming up Bergis to the top of the hill,visibility is limited and cut through traffic is often traveling over
40 miles an hour which is very dangerous.
If I could request 3 goals for the 2026 year it would be:
1. Repave roads in Skylands, particularly Bergis/Skyland Drive
2.Add signage along Bergis with 20 MPH speed limit
3.Add speed humps leading into the neighborhood to slow down cut through traffic which is dangerous to
pedestrians. Glenmorrie Dr.east of 43 is a perfect example of this.
