The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
Before I share my idea, I would like to share my gratitude for you all for all the things you have done for the City
this past year.While I know nothing is perfect for everyone, I appreciate the effort to get as close as you can. I
also appreciate the disagreements you all have,which may sound odd, but I feel you all do so in a professional
way,and it is something I have shared with my children and friends who seem to be diehardened by our current
political climate.So thank you.
My idea for a goal for this year or in the future is around transportation.With TriMet reducing services,the need
for reliable,safe transportation is so important. Especially for those who are unable to drive, like those with
disabilities,the financially underserved, and or the elderly.Access to transportation helps reduce the feeling of
isolation. Especially in our beautiful city that lacks enough safe flat routes to places.A circulator or Vity run
"Uber"system for those in need would be amazing for folks"stuck"at home.
As a frequent visitor to our amazing National Parks, I have seen parks use electric trams to transport folks.
Trams in our city could stop at the city facilities like City Hall,the Library,ACC, LORC,and Parks,giving folks a
chance to access those places and those near them,who may not be able to walk uphill or have safe sidewalks
to get to.
