The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
I would like the City Council to consider speeding up the process for moving to all battery powered lawn care for
private property and city owned properties.We purchased our home for the quiet and pastoral beauty of Forest
Highlands.Yet many days in the week our quality of life is disrupted by crews of commercial lawn care using
multiple gas powered machines at once.Walking my dog I am exposed to damaging levels of noise and fumes
from gas powered blowers, mowers and hedge trimmers, it is literally difficult to get away from up here.We
maintain our 3/4 acre property easily with battery powered equipment.Additionally I live across from Woodmont
Park and your crews continue to mow the small patch of grass there with an enormous riding gas mower. I have
spoken with city staff about this issue with no change in policy or practice.Thank you for your service and time
and attention to this matter.
