The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
Please ban gas powered landscaping equipment in Lake Oswego by the first quarter of 2027.
Gas powered landscaping equipment, especially gas leaf blowers cause significant air and noise pollution,
negatively impacting workers,children, pets,wildlife, neighborhoods, habitat and soil health.
Due to these significant public health issues, it is critical that Lake Oswego takes action to ban the use of gas
powered landscaping equipment at our homes,schools and businesses. The faster we transition to healthier
landscaping practices,the sooner we will all experience the multitude of benefits.
