The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
I feel strongly that the Council needs to rein in its spending on non-essential services. I understand the need for
an updated water treatment facility, but it isn't clear just how much this is going to cost the water users over time.
And I understand the need for a replacement to the fire station, but that just adds more to our property taxes.
The school bond was way more expensive than it needed to be-and that's not the city's fault, but it's just one
more expense that many people can't afford to pay. So PLEASE don't keep adding to our expenses.We don't
need a new community center or library or expanded park at Foothills or other things that will cost the taxpayers
a ton of money. Please focus on the core services that the city is to provide, like water, police,fire, roads,etc.
