The Lake Oswego City Council will hold its annual goal setting retreat on Saturday, February 21,2026 beginning at 9 a.m.
in Council Chambers at City Hall. In preparation,the City Council would like to hear from the community.
Please take a few minutes before 5 p.m.on February 12,2026 to share your input. Comments will be shared with the City
Council before their retreat.

Neighborhood First Addition
What would you like to see the City Council consider in their 2026 goal setting session?*
I would the City Council to consider ways to reduce cut-through traffic in First Addition.Obviously,this is very
specific to my neighborhood but I think it's important to realize that no other residential area in the city is more
affected by non-local traffic than First Addition. During the 10 years that I've lived here, I've seen a dramatic
increase in traffic volume,traffic speed,failures to obey stop signs and parking violations. I'd like you to consider
reconfiguring the 6 corners intersection.As currently configured,this intersection provides easy access to First
Addition for non-local traffic. I'd like to see that reduced to two lanes going from Country Club onto AAvenue and
to 2 lanes going onto Country Club from AAvenue.At worst,this would present very minor inconveniences to
residents. I'd like the City Council to put on hold proposals to build a new Library.We've been on quite a
spending spree lately and the current and potential tax increases are becoming significant.Our library does not
need to be all things to all people.Our current library is popular and well used and is fulfilling its mission. In my
opinion it should improved not replaced.
