The purpose of Public Comment is to allow community members to present information or raise an issue regarding
items not on the agenda or regarding agenda items that do not include a public hearing. A time limit of three
minutes per individual shall apply. Public Comment will not exceed thirty minutes in total. If you are unable to
attend the meeting and prefer to provide public comment in writing, please email the comment to the staff contact
listed above at least 24 hours before the meeting.

7. UPDATE
7.1 Housing Needs & Production Update (PP 22-0005)
The Commission will receive a general overview of the new statewide Oregon Housing Needs
Analysis (OHNA) program, which is likely to result in a significant increase in the City’s projection
of housing need in comparison to the 2023 Housing Needs Analysis. Staff coordinator is Erik
Olson, Long Range Planning Manager.
