BACKGROUND
Between April 6 and May 1, members of the 10 boards and commissions search committees
reviewed applications and interviewed candidates. From a pool of 55 applicants, 21 were
recommended for full appointments to standing advisory boards, committees, or commissions,
8 were recommended for youth appointments, and 13 were recommended for alternate
appointments.
DISCUSSION
Having thoroughly reviewed 55 applications and obtained the support of the Mayor, our 10
search committees recommend the appointments detailed in Exhibit A.

RESOLUTION 26-14
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE OSWEGO APPROVING
APPOINTMENTS TO THE BUDGET COMMITTEE; COMMUNITY HEALTH AND RESILIENCY
ADVISORY BOARD; DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMISSION; DIVERSITY, EQUITY,AND INCLUSION
ADVISORY BOARD; HISTORIC RESOURCES ADVISORY BOARD; LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD;
PARKS, RECREATION,AND NATURAL RESOURCES ADVISORY BOARD; PLANNING COMMISSION;
AND SUSTAINABILITY ADVISORY BOARD.
WHEREAS, there are nine boards and commissions with vacancies from terms expiring on June 30,
2026; and
WHEREAS, search committees consisting of a City Councilor, a current Officer, a representative of
the DEI Advisory Board, and a non-voting staff liaison evaluated applications and conducted
interviews between April 6 and May 1; and
WHEREAS, Exhibit A lists the appointments recommended by the search committees and
approved by the Mayor; and
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,the City Council of the City of Lake Oswego approves the
Mayor's appointments to the Budget Committee, Community Health and Resiliency Advisory
Board, Development Review Commission, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Board, Historic
Resources Advisory Board, Library Advisory Board, Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources
Advisory Board, Planning Commission, and Sustainability Advisory Board as outlined in Exhibit A.
Section 1. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect on July 1, 2026.
Considered and enacted at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Lake Oswego on
the 19th day of May, 2026.
