I.ike and Harold summarized the Parch 29th joint meeting of the Planning Commission ani task _orce chairpersons. Three nei-hborhoo4 association chairpersons and 3 r/ C members Caere also present at the meeting. Each task force -rave a status report on their respective progress. A couple o" things became clear: 1) there is a nee' for more coordination among task forces; anR 2) task forceshave many over-lapuin- areas, It was agreed that the task forces should not worry about overlappin_ areas, but each task force Td11 begin recoivin.* every other task force's minutes to help keep in touch. Ageneral discussion was held about progress of the task forces, zany task forces have I divercence of opinions within their -roues. CAC members should attend as many task force meetings as thew can, but ve can't be expected to make every meetil,, 2, The CAC members' role is more of a !'quiet obser-•,er" than an "active fo rtici- pant," but we should feel free to o`.7'er su_gestions or stimulate discussion if appropriate. 3. The secon' snrgestion was to have task forces prepare a written status report of what thev have accomplished, and what they see as still noe'ing to be accomplished. This wouad provide a c-oo�l starting point to •ive singestions to Task ^orces (if they need or scant them) on areas or topics that might also nee' some consideration.
