MINUTES
NOVEMBER 29, 2010
Mayor Jack D Hoffman called the special City Council meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. on
November 29, 2010, in the City Council Workroom, 380 A Avenue.
Present: Mayor Hoffman, Councilors Hennagin, Olson, Moncrieff, Jordan, Tierney, and
Vizzini.
Staff Present: Alex McIntyre, City Manager; David Powell, City Attorney; Bruce Shepley,
Municipal Judge; Megan Phelan, Human Resources Director; Robyn Christie, City Recorder
Mayor Hoffman reviewed the meeting procedure. He said that any decisions would be made in
open session. He convened the executive session.
3. EXECUTIVE SESSION, under authority of ORS 192.660 (2) (i) to review and evaluate
the employment-related performance of the chief executive officer of any public
body, a public officer, employee or staff member who does not request an open
hearing

4. RETURN TO OPEN SESSION
Mayor Hoffman reconvened the open session at approximately 10:40 p.m..
Ms. Phelan reviewed that the Council agreed to a 3% wage adjustment for the City Attorney (1.5%
COLA and 1.5% Wage Adjustment). 5% health insurance contribution, buy out up to additional 2
weeks of vacation, no participation in VEBA, and deferred comp and vacation will remain the
same. City Manager, 1.5% COLA, 5% to health ins, no VEBA, no additional vacation or
contribution to deferred comp and no change to the termination notice limits in the current contract.
Municipal Judge, 1.5% COLA to base wages. All would be effective January 1, 2011.
5. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Hoffman adjourned the meeting at 10:45 p.m.
