September 254 1962 ` A special meeting of the City Council of Lake Oswego wee called to order ' at 7130 p.m. by George Thomas, who had been c:esignated as Chairman'in the absence of the Mayor and the President of the Council. Praeent were Coan, Harmsen, Ross And Thomas. Mayor Dtidd, Lawret eo and Stewart were . absent. S It was moved by Coan and seconded by Roes that the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting be dispensed with until the next regular meeting. :_> . The purpose of the special meeting was for the formation of L.I.D.'S 68, 69, 70, 71, to provide sewers in the west end of the lake this coming ' . . winter. Jim Leep, of the Lake Corporation asked for city assurance-that contracts for the sewer'project in the lake will be let on schedule and that the ' lake can be brought up to its full, level on schedule.
