The Council meeting convened at 7:h5 p. m. Members present Wiere: Mayor .
qtidd, Couneilmen Coan„ Hermsen, and'Voss. Members absent were: Councilmen
Thomas, Lawrence:, and Stewart. .. .
A Public Hearing was held on the Cormation of Local Improvement District
# 68, Nest Pay Area)
There wers no written remonstrances, '
City Engineer R, Cruden and D. Abraham explained the proposed sewer project
to the audience, and then answered the numerous questions from thq property
owners. There being no further questions, Mayor Stidd.asked the audience if ,
11 there were any oral. remonstrances. There were none. ,
The Engineers were directed to prepare a Resolution forming LoCal Improve-
ment District # 68 and prevent same at the'Special Council Meeting October lcli'

The percentage of remonstrances were far below the reouired 51% of the owners
of the front footage to defeat the formation of a Local Improvement District..
