MINUTES
Present:
Brian Diehm, Bill Baily, Dee Poth, Jean Suman, Barbara Lane, Kathy Worsley,
Carol Dickinson, Jeanne Radow
1. Ongoing Activities
a. Catalog
Possible help with photographing the collection was offered through the
expertise of Clair Siddall. Brian will call him.
b. Reinstallation of the Collection
The ad hoc committee consisting of Dee Poth, Joyce Cox, Jeanne Radow, Jean
Suman met. They recommended several changes for the collection to give the
spaces a new look and allow some paintings more visibility. The committee
agreed to the changes. Spaces in the ACC will also be used.
c. Appraisal Letter
Bill Baily and Virginia Campbell have collected all but two addresses for the
artist represented in the collection.
Dee Potts offered to call the galleries representing these artists for that
information.
D. Library Purchase
Carol Dickinson reported that Frank Bogden, sculptor, has not yet finished the
work on the item he will offer to the library. We will be informed when he
does.
2. Membership
It was agreed to reserve the one vacancy on this subcommittee at this time.

110 3. Report from the Liaison of the Art Education Subcommittee
Barbara Lane reported her plans for including tours of the collection at the City Hall
and the library for the school children in the district. Information on all of the prices
must be researched and the committee will help with this. Docents to guide the
tours will be needed as well as some sources of funding. All agreed this is a good
project.
4. Meeting Time
The breakfast meeting was favorable to all on this committee. The next meeting is
scheduled for Tuesday, February 14 at 7:30 a.m., at the Blue Heron Cafe.
Please mark your calendar and phone Jean Suman at 636-7569 if you cannot
attend.
